The parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 9 and aims to “celebrate the contributions of the history, culture and contributions of the Irish.” It will begin with an invocation by the President of Archbishop Stepinac High School, Rev. Thomas Collins (Class of ’79) before Grand Marshal Scully leads the route.
Scully was born and raised in White Plains and attended St. John’s Elementary School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Buffalo and a Construction Management degree from New York University.
Members of the Parade Committee will bestow the honor of leading the parade upon Scully at the installation ceremony, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at The Vintage Restaurant in White Plains.
